Chris, LA8OM – LA winner of the CW PileUp Competition 2013

The PileUp competitions was again held at the Ham Meeting in Letohallen, near Gardermoen(OSL). Same number of participants in the CW part as last year, but three more in the SSB part. We are still new to this kind of competitions so many hams are reluctant to take part. I’ve now heard my share of excuses for not participating. Many of them kinda funny :-D

Randy, K5ZD left us in the ditch this year, and we are still wondering what the hell happened. Did he pick up some magic Viking powers when visiting The Viking Ship Museum the day before or was he inspired by the dits on the Nipple Balls(see picture below) found at the Astrup Fearnley Museum? The latter doesn’t explain the SSB success though, so he might just be that good and unassisted. Anyway, congratulations to all and thanks for joining the fun! Special thanks to Begali Keys, Permo and Leia AS for the prizes!

You find the 2013 files here. You will also find Player Reports in Excel format for both SSB and CW.
